My baby
won't let me wash his face! (March 5/02) |
| Q:
My baby won't let me wash his face after he eats, he pushes me away and
struggles. What can I do? |
| |
| A:
He's just letting you know what he doesn't like. So help him enjoy
it. Try making a game out of it. Pretend to wash your face
then try his. It's the only way my baby will let me wash his face or
hands. |
| Alternately:
Some parents use towel puppets to wash with, it's worth a try! |

Organic
Baby Food (Feb 20/02) |
| Q:
My friend says she doesn't feed her baby organic food because |
| she
needs to build up a resistance to it (chemicals in pesticides), is that
true? |
| |
A:
Simply put, we build up resistances to viruses and bacteria, not
chemicals. Organic is best.
Also, pesticide levels sprayed on foods are determined for the tolerance
of an adult body. That means the concentrations of these poisons are too
high for little bodies! |
